NAPFE Management Division

Eligibility

NAPFE members , holding a supervisory position in the Postal or Federal service, are eligible to join the Management Division and serve as officers and delegates at the Local, District and National levels.

Mission

The goal of the Management Division is to promote the advancement of our members through training and networking. Given the corporate structure of today's Postal Service, promotion from front line supervisor to the next level will be a far greater jump than in the past. This is made even more difficult because greater influences are being placed on the candidates educational background. On the surface you can't argue with the selection process. But if you look beneath the surface it appears that the powers that be have decided to go with younger and formally educated people, even though many of these employees are inexperienced. This will limit or slow the promotion of many Alliance members from front-line supervisors who are very knowledgeable and capable of holding top management positions.
